EVONET manages and maintains the server with operating system and hosting applications. You receive a login name and password in order to access the server and remotely update the contents of your website(s).

The server is connected to the internet and the EVONET backone through a Fast Ethernet Switch. The result is a very performant and highly stable internet connection.

2. Mail-/messaging service

Mail-/messaging services, organised according to choice of the contracting party
Classic e-mail with 25 e-mailboxes and/or e-mailaliasses
SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol; the standard to send electronic messages over the internet
Batched SMTP = Batched Simple Mail Transfer Protocol: a way to create various e-mailaddresses with only one dial-up account. The fixed IP-address is linked with your login name and with a host or domain name. You need mailserver software to be able to receive and distribute e-mail.
